The Friends of Parkfield Medical Centre Patient Participation Group
In
October 1998 the Friends of Parkfield Medical Centre Patient Participation
Group was formed. The aim of the Group is to provide equipment for
Parkfield that the NHS is not obliged to provide and to inform patients about
health care by providing doctors’ talks and discussions and by the publication
of a newsletter. Doctors and patients thus have the opportunity to meet
in order to discuss topics of mutual interest in the practice.
The annual subscription is only £1.00 per adult and £2.00 for family membership
(or more, by choice). This money will go towards the provision of
equipment and the publishing of a newsletter for distribution to members.
We are a registered charity (No. 1075710). Persons wishing to join the
PPG may do so providing they are 18 or over and are patients at Parkfield
Medical Centre.
