Prescriptions
For prescription enquiries please contact the surgery on 0844 477 8640 (option 3) between the hours of 8.15am and 12.45pm Monday to Friday.
You can request a repeat prescription via the Internet (or Sky/cable provider) or in writing using the computer generated prescription list - found on the right hand side of your green NHS prescription.
Last year the practice prescribed 124673 items—i.e. 2400 per week at a total cost of £1.9 million
We aim to prescribe all repeat prescription requests within 48 hours but during very busy periods, such as Easter and Christmas, please allow 72 hours. The surgery can issue up to three months worth of most types of medication at any one time.
You can bring your computer generated medication list to the practice, post it with a SAE, fax it on 0870 890 2589 or request it from us through your log in on the website:

Please note that only repeat prescriptions can be issued via the Internet.
Items not on your repeat prescription must be requested in writing. Please check in 48 hours time to see if your request has been accepted.
Hospital prescriptions should be taken to the hospital pharmacy for dispensing.
